This eco-friendly hotel offers natural landscaping, a pond with a large fountain and a few cottage-style units near the river. Guest rooms feature contemporary natural décor and many offer wonderful views. A surrey bike is parked out front on which you may choose to investigate the property. Smoke free premises. 120 units, some cottages. 2 stories (no elevator), exterior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

I stayed at the Gaia for 3 days. I got my keycards to my room the evening I checked in and only 1 worked. No big deal since it was only me and my disabled son and dog staying. After being out all day the first day of my stay, I returned to the hotel close to midnight only to find my one functional keycard no longer working. I called the front desk and they sent someone over with 2 new keycards (of which only 1 worked). Next day, I was out until about 9:00 pm and returned to the hotel to find that my 1 keycard now no longer worked. Seriously?! I called the front desk again, the woman was rude, offered no apology or explanation for why this keeps happening and told me to come get new cards. I asked if somebody could bring them to me as I had already gotten my disabled son, dog, and belongings from the parking lot to our outside our door. I was told there were no other employees to help unless I wanted to wait until someone’s next shift. It is a fairly large property so I had to take child, dog and stuff all the way back to our car, go to the front desk and get new keycards (hoping at least 1 would work) and then pack it all back to our room again. Again, no apology, explanation, anything. I am assuming this occurs on the regular since it happened to me EVERY DAY! On the positive side, my room had a lovely view of the pond and nice patio.
