I booked 2 King rooms via the AAA website and received an email confirming both rooms. When we arrived to check in, the hotel had only received a reservation for 1 room from "Expedia" & was sold out. We had to cancel the 1 room they held for us, spend 40 min at the desk waiting for the manager to find us rooms at another hotel, drive 15 min away & check into more expensive rooms than we had originally booked via AAA. I attempted to call AAA at the time but no answer so we were on our own. The Hampton Inn Boston Woburn charged my card for the night we didn't get to stay there so I had to make 2 separate calls to their customer service line & the hotel manage to get a refund. Initially I was told to take it up with Expedia to notify the hotel of their mistake then I was to call the hotel manager to ask for the refund. I had no idea Expedia was involved in any way as I booked via AAA. Eventually I got my refund for the night we never got, but it ruined our weekend & part of another day after we returned home. I will never book via AAA travel again.
