Stylish rooms have plump bedding, a large work space and an easy chair. Corner rooms offer a bit more floor space and have a sofa. The lobby lounge is a great rendezvous spot to connect with friends before you head out to explore the shopping and dining options of the surrounding blocks. There was construction going on within all floors. Only one elevator working. Parking wasn’t that easy to find, in addition cost for parking was overpriced.

The facility will be a very one once construction is done. The room I was in was not a renovated one and it did show a pretty good amount of age. However it was clean, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and it was quiet. The only negative things I would have to say, beyond the wear showed in the rooms, are how small the bathroom is and the lack of electrical outlets near the bed. Beyond that it was a great stay. There are a number of restaurants in walking distance and the Metro station is only a short walk away as well.
The staff at this hotel was pleasant. Even before my stay the staff was accommodating with all questions I had with my trip and made a notation of when my flight was arriving. I like the special touch that as soon I landed I received a text message from the hotel letting me know what to expect on my visit. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and with the heat in DC it was refreshing to have water available in the lobby. We did have a few hiccups that were resolved once we made the staff aware. On our first night of the stay our rooms were very warm but once we alerted the front desk maintenance came and resolved the issue in both of my family rooms immediately. Also, unfortunately anytime someone in a nearby room turned on their shower early in the morning our shower head would make a very loud vibrating noise(see video). Unfortunately for my family this happened between 5-6am each morning. The hotel was very close to the DCA Airport and the shuttle came around as expected.. the only downside of the airport shuttle is that it isn’t available before 6am so my sister had to order an Uber from the hotel to get to the airport for her 5:45am flight. Please also note that this hotel was under renovations on the exterior and some interior areas during my stay (in July 2023) that I wasn’t aware of before arriving.

It was awful. There was a massive amount of construction everywhere with no forewarning, and there was NO WATER all night, so no shower, jo flushing, no hand washing. Still charged full price with no refund for terrible basic function of the hotel!
