With a unique territorial-style design, most units here face a sunny brick courtyard accented by a wood balcony and chile ristras. Many units have a fireplace. It's a convenient stroll to the plaza. Smoke free premises. 56 units, some efficiencies. 2-3 stories, interior/exterior corridors.

Hotel was unique, clean and in a good location. Only complaint was there was not always staff at the front desk - more often than not. This doesn't have to do with the hotel, but with AAA - we were not happy with the way AAA charged us for rooms. We booked through AAA, thinking we would get a discount, but was the opposite - charges were more than if we went through hotel website. Why wasn't there a refund? Will not go through AAA again.
Great accommodations just off the Plaza. It may not be a 5 star hotel by modern standards, but this is Santa Fe! The quaint and charming atmosphere makes up for it. As does the staff. My only disappointment was the fire was not burning in the lobby/bar. C'mon - it's christmas!
The room we had was not accessible by elevator but had two sets of long stairs, one outside the room and one inside. The whole property is heated and cooled by one unit, and the heat wasn’t turned on, even though it was in the 40’s at night and raining and in the 50’s during the day. They finally turned the heat on, which helped considerably. Supposedly they had breakfast included, but it consisted of packaged muffins, packaged snack bars, small cups of yogurt, and juice. They added a $25 amenity fee to cover parking (we didn’t have a car) and this pitiful breakfast which was ridiculous. They should have just included it in the room charge instead of aggravating customers. I heard another guest complain that there were 3 places leaking rain in his room. I was very disappointed with this property, since it had good reviews on your website.
