My daughter and I stayed overnight over the weekend for the Greenville Country Music Festival. Sadly our hotel stay was the worst part of the weekend. Lets start with the pros....Location of the hotel was very convenient. I appreciated that for safety reasons they keep the main entry doors locked at night with only key card access. Main entry way was nice. Front desk clerks very polite. Aside from that, this is the poorest experience I have had at a hotel in a very long time. We stayed in room 419. Linens did NOT smell fresh, one of the beds had crumbs, stains in carpet, not to mention carpet needed vacuumed upon check in. Room did not look like it had been thoroughly cleaned and if it had not been so late upon our arrival I would have requested a new room but all we wanted was a place to lay our heads. Wallpaper falling off wall in bathroom and right outside elevator upon arriving on the 4th floor. Floor had just a yucky unclean feeling when walking on...even in socked feet. Very very disappointed especially with the price point that I paid for the weekend that we stayed. Was also told that check out was at 12:00pm. Checked out before 12:00pm and was charged a late check out fee. This hotel is outdated and very dirty and apparently do not stand by their own policies.
