Lushly landscaped grounds transport you to a tropical oasis. Guest rooms offer mountain or ocean views with private lanais. Larger suites include a separate living area. This secluded resort features a salt water pool, a 75-foot water slide and waterfalls. Guests can choose to have their spa services indoors or outdoors. A variety of cultural activities and entertainment is available throughout the week. Smoke free premises. 350 units. 2-5 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

This room 2417, privately owned, was disappointing. It was "tired", with too-soft bed; chairs whose cushion was old; faucets that leaked; bathtub with slippery surface and no bathmat, a slip and fracture waiting to happen; no towel racks. It was rather cheaply put together, and the TV set wasn't working properly, including turning on by itself. It gives one the idea that the owner is not finding a way to keep the room in line with the quality of the rest of the resort. Because this unit is privately owned, one could only call the owner about problems, not the staff on site, which is not how I want to spend my precious time on Kauai. The staff was great, the food good, the grounds beautiful and peaceful. Although right on the shore, swimming was risky due to busy waves, but other beaches are not far away. The daily parking fee was a bit steep. We did not use the spa or exercise amenities, so cannot comment on that.
