The location and hotel were excellent. Very clean. Steps to Times Square and most of the theatres. The Concierge that helped with our dinner reservations was absolutely amazing! The only bad during our stay was the restaurant. It was important to me that my daughters and I had a place we could get food and drinks on site which is one of the reasons I chose this hotel. The first night it was closed for a private party. After that, they didn't have an alcohol license due to an issue with an ownership transfer. Not the end of the world and hopefully the license was eventually resolved. Overall, I would still highly recommend.

Hotel was very outdated, they don’t have a liquor license. Nobody came out to help us while we were unloading the car. It was raining I was trying unload the car and take my newborn and 4 year old inside. They offered to help me after I managed to take everything inside. After checking out I noticed I’ve been double charged so after several attempts to resolve the issue I haven’t gotten anywhere. They are blaming the old owners of the property.
The front desk staff members were courteous and efficient in check-in and check-out. The biggest plus was the service provided by the concierge desk and Brucha gets rave reviews for her personal interest she took in helping me and my granddaughter. The rooms were clean and maintained on a daily basis. The only downside was the early closing time of the dining area. This was my second trip to the Renaissance and the I made reservations because I enjoyed the wonderful view over Times Square from the dining room, but I missed having time for a drink and visiting time after returning from a show, but it closed too early.
