This intimate downtown café specializes in fresh foods prepared in Louisiana fashion. It’s a great place to get a taste of the local flavor. The jerk fried chicken over red beans and rice, and the blackened redfish over braised collard greens are outstanding. Additional authentic specialties include Cajun grouper, crawfish étouffée, shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes and boudin balls. Open only for dinner on Saturday.
