AAA Diamond Inspector Notes
The chef's creative lamb, duck, veal and trout dishes incorporate a wealth of regional ingredients and cross-cultural techniques to provide a distinctive Colorado culinary experience. The inn was established in 1873 on the stage line to Leadville, and the dining room reflects the history with stained-glass accents, a stone fireplace and original woodwork details. Oil paintings done by local legend C.H. Rockey add to the ambience. Service is refined but not pretentious.
