New York restaurateur Chris Cannon has led a small army in smartly renovating this ornate, landmark 1750-built mansion and designing a remarkable multi-floor eatery. Included on some select menus are fine sommelier wine pairings from a more than 400 bottle wine cellar. Service is low-key and much of the produce and some shellfish are sourced locally in New Jersey. The sublime Ratheskeller room is a popular spot to get together and toast that such an early golden age in Morristown lives on today.
