River Tube Adventures

Overview

A true Adventure for Family, Corporate Groups, Special Events or just a cool ride on a hot summer day. Take only what you need: Hats and sunglasses are essential. A bottle of water is helpful. Anything else runs the risk of ending up at the bottom of the river. If you really need to take other items, consider tying a dry bag to your tube, but anything you aren't prepared to Keep your feet - and your butt - up: River levels change with the season. In spring, flows are high and fast. In the summer, water levels drop, exposing rocks and other submerged obstacles. Keep your feet elevated and, when approaching rapids, also lift up your back-side. Otherwise, be prepared to get a few bruises. Bring a waterproof camera: Filmcameras are largely a thing of the past, but the faces your fellow floaters will make as they get hit with a splash of cold water will be priceless - or, at least worth the price of a disposable waterproof camera.
