Two-lane PR 825 meanders through charming villages and fishing communities as it closes in on the Bay of Fundy, a treasured natural wonder said to have the highest tidal range in the world. Amazing rock formations are visible during low tide, and various whale species, including humpback and minke whales, can be spotted in season (June through October).

Affording beautiful vistas of wooded mountains, weather-beaten outbuildings and serene pastures, the byway winds and dips as it approaches the Bay of Fundy, where towering waves crash against the rocky shore at high tide. The dramatic coast is an excellent place to observe wildlife, including whales and migratory birds.
