A gentle grade on PR 430 at the head of East Arm provides excellent views of Gros Morne Peak. Beyond Rocky Harbour are constant vistas with the Gulf of St. Lawrence on the west and the Long Range Mountains to the east. The grandeur of the Western Brook Gorge is visible from a pullout near the end of the byway.
