Cardston

Today, a considerable percentage of Cardston residents are members of the faith. Completed and dedicated in 1923, Cardston Alberta Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 348 3rd St. W., was the first temple to be built in Canada. Visitors who aren't church members are not permitted to enter the structure but can tour the grounds, where a visitor center offers information; phone (403) 653-3552.
