Utuado
The Caguana Ceremonial Indigenous Heritage Center , 7.5 miles (12 km) west of Utuado on Rte. 111, was constructed by Taíno Indians more than 700 years ago. A soccer-like game was played here on dozens of ritual courts, or bateyes; many are lined with inscribed monoliths. The park is open daily 8:30-4:20; phone (787) 669-1866.
