In late July, the 4-day Strauss Festival of Elk Grove presents evening orchestral performances choreographed to the music of Austrian composer Johann Strauss. Each performance ends with a display of fireworks. This family-oriented event takes place on Strauss Island in Elk Grove Regional Park, 9950 Elk Grove-Florin Rd.
