Three Forks

A trading post was established by fur trappers in 1810. The first permanent non-native settlement was established nearby in 1862. As railroads and highways provided access to the area, settlers arrived, and Three Forks was founded in 1908. Excellent hunting and fishing opportunities continue to attract visitors today.
