About 2 miles south of Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site off SR 12A is the Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge, one of the longest covered bridges in the United States. Built in 1866 and 450 feet long, the bridge spans the Connecticut River and links New Hampshire to Windsor, Vt.
