The Pyle House, 376 Idaho Ave. S.E., was the residence of Gladys Pyle, the first woman to become a member of the state's House of Representatives. Tours are offered Monday through Friday 1-4 in summer or by appointment; phone (605) 520-4489.

“Murals on the Town” is a series of large, colorful paintings depicting the history of the community of Huron and referencing specific events. Visitors can observe these artistic works on the sides of several downtown buildings. New murals are added each year.
