Snohomish
The Blackman House Museum, 118 Ave. B, was built in 1878 by Snohomish’s first mayor, Hyrcanus Blackman. Subsequently enlarged and remodeled in 1895, the house and its furnishings are restored to reflect the Victorian period. Phone (360) 568-5235 or (425) 315-2258.
The 30-mile Centennial Trail, a paved path for pedestrians and bicyclists, was built on the abandoned Burlington Northern Railroad right-of-way.

Shopping
In keeping with the prevailing Victorian-era atmosphere, the town bills itself as the “Antique Capital of the Northwest.” Antique malls provide space for dealers in the historic business district, centered on First Street between Cedar Avenue and Avenue D. Restored buildings also house restaurants and specialty shops.
