San Juan Island

Perched at the island's northwest corner is Roche Harbor, a resort town and popular yachting destination. In a peaceful glen nearby is the Afterglow Vista Mausoleum. It commemorates John S. McMillan, founder of the local limeworks.

San Juan Transit provides regular shuttle service around the island. Narrated tours are available on a limited basis by reservation; phone (360) 378-8887.
