Campground Overview
Running Branch Marina and Campground in Thornton, Texas provides cabins, RV and tent campsites adjacent to Lake Limestone. It is a little piece of paradise off the beaten track. Beautiful grounds with plenty of shaded sites to enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature. It is very spacious, well maintained and makes the perfect family getaway.
We also have a private boat launch and live bait is available at the convenience store on site.
Check In
Check In Time: 12AM | Please call to notify us if you will be arriving after hours so we can meet you at the store. Check-in at front office/store before proceeding to your site to sign our waiver.

Pet Policy
Pets are not allowed in the cabins at any time. Pets are welcome for RVers as long as they remain on a leash when outdoors and you pick up after them.
