Freshly renovated in 2023, the vibe is modern and coastal at this large beachfront hotel, most rooms have a small balcony with great views. Ones of only 2 hotels that offer beach drink service, you’ll also find a tiki bar, and an open-air “beach club” stocked with comfortable places to relax. Hotel was nice. Very clean and everyone was friendly. My only issue is that I booked through AAA and received a lower rate than if I would have booked directly through the hotel. When I checked out they tried to charge me an extra $170 for "Resort fees" Which I declined to pay. They stated that when you book through a 3rd party (Which they choose to participate with to get more business), the 3rd party is supposed to explain the "Extra fees". Just seems a little dishonest to me. But the place is very nice!! Good food, staff and very clean. Lots of parking, easy access.

The hotel is going through a remodeling so not all amenities are available but the room was very nice and the staff was super.

We didn't get the room promised. They bumped us from a king bed to a double size bed, instead of a view of the ocean we had a view of the roof top ac unit and cooking vents, not enough help! If they had given us a discount on our room I might have forgiven them, but no we were supposed to be grateful.

The hotel is going thru a transition to new owners. short staffed had to wait for my rooms only three elevators for guests and staff. long waits to get up and down
