This hotel has an attractive pinewood-paneled poolroom that is visible from the lobby. The guest rooms and bathrooms, while not particularly spacious, have well-coordinated décor. There are a few spacious suites with hot tubs. There is a supermarket next door. Smoke free premises. 70 units. 2 stories (no elevator), interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

Booked two nights in a King Suite with whirlpool tub. First night we were awoken at 11pm by bright light and sounds right outside our balcony. Maintenance worked in the pool room (which was closed, unaware at time of booking) until nearly 2am. Breakfast the first morning was good and we were greeted by a very pleasant cook. In the morning we were unable to sit and have coffee and read on the balcony due to the strong paint fumes permeating the pool room. Booked the room specifically for the balcony and whirlpool, and when my wife tried the whirlpool tub the water temperate was far below tolerable. Very little water pressure as well so it took a long time to fill. We both tried to have a hot shower after we drained the tub only to find the shower water was ice cold. Day 2 breakfast was still uncooked with guests still waiting for food by 8:30am (breakfast room closes at 9am). At this point we were ready to leave and while loading our vehicle in sub zero temperatures, our key cards stopped working over an hour before 11am checkout time. Considering that we were unable to use two of the main features that make a King suite worth booking (tub and balcony) plus a basic essential (hot shower), we thought hotel staff may offer a small discount on the price we paid, but we were not offered anything. After staying at this hotel each year around Christmas when we are in town to visit family, we will no longer be staying here. Had we been offered any fair refund amount or discounted rate we would have considered giving this hotel another try due to the convenient location alone. Note: the indoor pool as never been opened as advertised during any of our holiday stays.
