Interior rooms surround the pool, while perimeter rooms face the parking lot at this hotel near Marine Corps Air Station (depicted in "Top Gun"). The guest rooms have a soothing blue color palette. Smoke free premises. 104 units. 3 stories, exterior corridors.

Although this is an older building, it was clean and included all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.
Excellent customer service. Continental breakfast was delicious. I found it strange that there was a tip jar and was not prepared but wanted to. The room smelled like smoke, and they brought me spray but that did not work. They offered to change rooms, but my children had already fallen asleep. The website showed that there was a hot tub, and I was told they took that out. The tub felt broken underneath and had a strange air pocket. Next time, I would try to select a hotel that costs a little more.
The toilet was uneven by a lot. The toilet also was difficult to flush. You would have to flush atleast twice. The shower head was set for about 4 feet so you had to bend down to shower. The shower rod was super rusted and doesn’t look like it will last much longer.
