No truth or transparency in added costs. We booked on the parking and breakfast included only to arrive to - Parking is Valet only at $45 per night plus tax and there is not a meal option except a restaurant -bar experience. Enjoyed the bartender Friday night, she was the highlight of the staff experience. I enjoyed the look and feel of the building.
What a beautifully restored old building right in the heart of the downtown! The staff was attentive and helpful. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. I only had coffee at the restaurant, but the space was fabulous, and the menu was tempting.
Staff were welcoming. The hotel is refurbished and historical. On the higher levels you can see the skyline and it’s beautiful. Walking distance from the Astros stadium. I should have read the details about parking being $40/night. That made up for the low nightly rate. Overall, a nice hotel, especially if waking to Minute Maid stadium.
