Convenient to the convention center and downtown activities, this hotel has spacious rooms with comfy beds.. Request a room facing the Miami River, which are quieter with better views. Due to its location near the highway and MetroMover train, rooms on the other side of the building are a bit noisier. The pool area is private and also features some landscaping. Smoke free premises. 149 units. 16 stories, interior corridors.

Good location. Free MetroMover is one block away that you can hop on & off to get around town. Avis & Buget car rental is across the street. Hotel is old & outdated. Elevator is very slow. Suite rooms are small with very thin walls. You can hear people talking through the air vents.

The hotel staff were matter of fact. I would not describe them as friendly not did they go out of their way to accommodate. The breakfast was below average they didn’t even have cold cereal or yogurt. There was only eggs that were obviously from a bag , sausage patties and toast. Only one evaluator was working and it took forever go get anywhere. Would not allow late check out so the lobby was filled with people in the morning waiting with nowhere it sit.
The bed was comfortable and the space was clean but there were many negatives. The system for valet parking is difficult because ofentry is so cramped. The main problem is the noise from boats on the river and traffic and honking horns. The room itself is huge but the bathroom is so small they had to notch the door to close it past the toilet.
