During the booking process it was hard to get someone on the phone. When you did she seemed bothered with so the questions. There were multiple of us traveling abs it was requested that the rooms be next to each other, not done. Request was for rooms on the 1st floor, not done. Claims there was no Request put in the computer. I have never stayed in a room without carpet. Floor was cold she the kids socks were dirty every day. The refrigerator had food in it and there were green soap rings on the tub. The manager said she couldnt send housekeeping in until the next day as they onlu had 2. I told her don't worry about it I'd throw it away. The door didn't close without you pushing it shut. She said that was a maintenance issue she could do nothing about she i was the only one that had the room that complained. Talking to guests, there was rooms on the 1st floor with similar issues.The TV screen was green. The ice machine was broken. We were told were it was and all night gad to listen to people trying to use it. The breakfast was misleading. The orange juice was sour and the apple was out. Only fruit daily was oranges. The coffee was bland, had to go out daily for coffee. The pool floor tile was cracked. There were dead ants. The silver bars to get on and out of the pool and the hot tub were wobbly.parts of the wall by the hittub crumbling near the floor. Hotel internet was very slow. Had several issues with the computer in the " business center ", went to staples. WORSE hotel stay on all years of traveling

This hotel is right near a train track with a train that rolled through around 10p. I thought the hotel was collapsing. A warning about this might have been nice. There is a wall mounted heat/ cooling unit that had a loud metallic rattle when turned on. So, needless to say, the temperature is what it is. I tried to open a window, but the industrial rubber smell was so strong. In a choice between the two, we chose to sweat it out. We came down for breakfast in the morning to find nothing prepared. When I asked the lobby attendant, she looked at me blankly, looked at the breakfast area, shrugged then responded, “Guess they’ve packed up.” That’s it. No apology. No alternative offered. In short, it was fine, but probably would have paid $10-$15 more to stay somewhere else.
