The impressive setting at this sprawling log-cabin-style resort offers an authentic mid-20th Century environment. Rooms range from very tight units to more spacious suites. The three original buildings, which date back to 1930, were constructed with 10,000 red-cedar logs. Guest corridors extend out like spokes from the central lobby, where a multi-sided, stone fireplace is featured. That fireplace, the lobby and grounds have served over the last century as a backdrop for countless family photos. The hotel has so much original character intact from the past that it stands today as a truly unique birds-eye view to a previous, simpler world. When staying here we are reminded of how life used to be lived, and simply enjoyed, generations ago. Smoke free premises. 210 units. 3 stories, interior corridors.
