At check in I was given a handicap accessible room. Which I said I didnt want. I was told this your room. I let it go not happy but. I had called and ask for a room on the 2nd floor off ground level I was giving a room which is below ground level. The hotels 2nd floor is oddly a basement and window does not open!!! The lining of the curtain was torn and the chair was very old and worn! I won't say there again.
The worst experience at a Hampton Inn I've experienced. The property feels dirty - litter in hallways, old carpets, elevator floor stained. The bathtub in the room was old, stained and looked dirty. The couch had stains on it, the white comforter had a small stain that looked like blood, the mirror had water stains. For a hotel that's charging upwards $350 per night they should be embarrassed. It makes me not want to book travel via AAA again.
My room was facing the freeway which was quite noisy. The tepid shower was the most difficult aspect of the stay. Otherwise, the room was comfortable and clean.
