This hotel is well situated; not too close to downtown, but close enough to walk if you want. The room was very clean and comfortable. Housekeeping routinely only comes in every 5 days of your stay but are there if you need anything. I really liked that they had 3 washers and dryers for guests to use (coin operated). The only flaw I found is that the toilet was not chair height. I'm not disabled, but being a senior citizen, this would have been helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in Bar Harbor.

The room had no view, when I booked the picture had a water view, which I thought I was getting but because the hotel was booked they could not change my room. I stayed at another hotel and in their description it said water view, partial view, etc. Please update your pictures.
