This was a great experience except that our ship docked in the morning and the Hilton charged $50 for check in before 4 pm. It was snowing and we, both senior citizens and Hilton Honor members, did not want to sight see in the cold and wet. We paid the fee, but grumbled about it the rest of our trip.
Location was right next to Old Quebec. We walked across the street and walked right into the walled city of Old Quebec. Parking garage attached to hotel so you just parked your car and took the elevator and walked into hotel lobby. Hotel staff always courteous and willing to help.
We wanted a hotel with an on-site restaurant, this had one but it was closed for lunch and dinner due to lack of staff, open only for breakfast buffet, which cost $34.00CAD each for a buffet that would've been complimentary at a Holiday Inn Express. Room was decent however the 'Parliament view' was just a small part of the side of the building. Wouldn't pay for that again
