Hotel was close to town and we were 3 older women but we felt safe here. Our room was clean and we had a great view of the beach, able to see the cruise ships arriving and departing every day. It was a great start to our days. The breakfast was delicious, from a full course meal, it was served in a dining area where you had the choice of eating outside or inside. There was plenty to choice from. All of the staff from cleaning, cooking and receptionists at the front desk were all very friendly, helpful and if you had any questions they were more than willing to help you any way. In traveling we did cabs and we did the jitneys. The jitneys are very reasonable and you can pretty much travel where you want. And the local Bahamians are all very friendly and if they see that you’re questioning something they will help you out. Went to the fish fry at Curly’s had the conch salad. Fresh and very good. Also went into Inchban Japanese Restaurant, a few doors down from our hotel on Bay Street. There the food was very good too. And last but not least. We had a beautiful week there. The weather was exceptional, only getting rain the day before we left. It was a very nice time away…..we would definitely stay here again.
