This property is located near a mall, shops and many restaurants. Vanities in baths have a unique green tinted color which is very distinctive. Rooms are spacious with ample sleep and work area. Smoke free premises. 84 units. 5 stories, interior corridors.

We did not have a pleasant experience at this Holiday Inn Express. The elevator was broken so we had to carry our luggage up 3 flights of stairs and use the same set of stairs every time we left or returned to the hotel. Our room was not very clean, we had no soap, the sink wouldn't drain, and worst of all was my granddaughter had serious red itchy welts on her arms and hands that we later had diagnosed at the doctor as bed bug bites. We had previously stayed at a Holiday Inn Express at Bridgeport, WV, which was newly remodeled and had a pleasant stay there and we thought this would be the same, but it was the complete opposite with old furnishings and dirty carpet. The linens were also dingy. Made different accommodations for this past weekend's stay in Charleston. Won't be staying there again. The only reason I gave it 1 star was it was close to shopping and restaurants.
