Hotel was very nice. Clean. The front desk staff was wonderful. The food at the restaurant was very good although the service was slow. The pool area is in need of cleaning and updating. The windows in the room we were assigned on the 22nd floor leaked. They leaked to the point that we had be relocated to the 19th floor. The bellhop assisted us. We were given meal vouchers for a free breakfast buffet. At the time of check out I asked for further compensation and received one night stay for free. The lobby was also extremely cold.

The Cincinnati Hyatt Regency was excellently located just across the street from the Duke Energy Center where The Annual Cincinnati Wine Festival was held, so we never needed coats to attend. Our room on the 19th floor was very comfortable and appointed and the king bed much to our liking. Pulling the black out curtains made the room pitch black for sleeping. The entire staff was extremely helpful and cheerful from check in to check out. Parking, although convenient in a garage across from the hotel, was a bit pricey at $23/day, but also convenient and cheaper than valet parking. Breakfast, not included was OK, but typically the scrambled eggs soon congeal in a large pan. They would do well to either offer omelets or smaller pans of eggs and replenish them more often to avoid that. A young woman employee at the entrance to the very active in-house bar eagerly helped us by giving us several Half and Half coffee creams to take up to our room for morning coffee in our Keurig. That was much better than the powder packs available in the room. Lyft rides were prompt twice to and from the hotel to a very good Boca Restaurant. Check in and out was a breeze. The only negative, if there was one, is that the main floor was often very cold due to much in and out traffic through the large automatic doors. Elevators were plentiful and prompt and quick. We'd highly recommend the Hyatt.
