Located a short distance from the Santa Monica Pier and other local attractions, this cosmopolitan hotel is truly a visual delight from the chic décor of the lobby to the gorgeous accommodations. Richly decorated with custom furnishings, guest rooms are both modern and striking. The black-and-white motif centers on an elegant white leather tuck-and-roll headboard. Blue-toned accent pieces add a coastal feel that extends to the bathrooms, which are distinguished by luxurious marble tile and an oversize wood-framed mirror. Smoke free premises. 310 units, some two bedrooms. 9 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

For the price, these accommodations were horrible. The power went out and the hotel was ill equipped to handle the ordeal, they basically flipped it and implied its on us for choosing the location, etc when there was zero communication or assistance on what was happening.
Staff very friendly and hotel room was very nice and clean. Nice balcony . Would definitely stay there again.
During our stay, hotel workers were picketing. Although the hotel mentioned this at check-in; they gave no indication of the impact this would have on our stay. The protest (drums, airhorns, shouting) was from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.. and made staying in the room, let alone using the balcony impossible. When I complained after the first day the hotel refunded one night's stay, however`, given that we were staying for a special occasion, (20 year wedding anniversary), it showed complete disregard for our stay as a guest to knowingly put us in a room on the fourth floor directly over the protest.
