It was the quiet retreat we needed.
I hate the fact that I signed on to AAA for a specific hotel chose it and prepaid for it only to show up to what I thought I selected through AAA, and found out it was to this hotel way out and through Expedia. I absolutely do not like that company, their rules and customer service is horrible and that’s when you can get in touch with them. I will think twice about using AAA again to book a hotel, you guys are becoming sell outs to these horrible companies like Expedia and hotels.com It’s almost not worth it to keep my AAA membership as my insurance offers the same services. Very, very disappointed ☹️
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in they never emptied our trash they never gave us clean towels we had to get them every day there was no one else in this hotel that we could see we will never stay there or would I recommend them to anyone else no continental breakfast it was not pleasant.
Apparently our rooms (2) had recently had work done. NOTHING was plugged in (lights, TV, phone, etc). The mini-fridge had plastic taped over it in the cabinet. The electrical outlets were either taped over (making it hard to plug things in) or the cover was missing (making it dangerous to reach behind the bed/furniture to plug things in). One room was missing the TV remote so we couldn’t do anything once we plugged in the TV. And by the time we checked in (~7 pm) the main staff had gone home so no one knew where they store the coffee pots (since that was also missing) or program remote were were given to try and control the TV (it would power it on…nothing else)
No free breakfast, but they did have a pool table, gaming room and mini golf onsite. Beds were comfy; even the elevators were very clean.
