Many of the inviting nautically inspired rooms offer harbor views while others overlook historic downtown. The small yet attractive bathrooms feature marble floors and pedestal sinks. Sweet smelling, local bath amenities, enhance your showering experience. The outdoor sundeck off the large saltwater pool, offers lounge chairs overlooking the marina. This is the perfect place to read a book or watch the sun go down, even if your room lacks a waterfront view. Some first floor rooms feature sliding glass doors that open out to a grassy knoll with Adirondack chairs and hammocks while others have private balconies overlooking the harbor. A seasonal complimentary welcome drink such as hot apple cider or a refreshing pineapple sangria during the warmer months is a nice treat. Try a game of cornhole or boccie on the lawn or borrow one of the paddleboards and kayaks to explore Newport by the water. Smoke free premises. 133 units. 4 stories, interior corridors.

When I checked in, I received two complimentary drink tickets. I asked where I can use them and was told the restaurant and bar were closed and they could not be redeemed. Why give me them and then now honor them? Since no food was available at the hotel I walked to a nearby pub and purchased some soup. When I asked the front desk where the microwave was to heat the soup, I was told they did not have one. I was surprised and asked why no micowaves are there even for the employee break room. The front desk person then told me thaey had one, but I was not allowed to heat up anything. This is poor customer service.

All was good at the hotel until our room was not attended to on 2nd and 3rd of our stay.

Hotel was very nice and walkable to restaurants etc. only problem I had was the $35 per day fee which covered parking and not sure what else. My thoughts are at $400/ night perhaps they shouldn’t try to squeeze more out of you
