Acadian Coastal Scenic Drive

25.5 miles: 0 hours, 38 minutes

The Acadian Coastal Scenic Drive is a collection of provincial roads hugging the shoreline of the Northumberland Strait on the eastern coast of New Brunswick, passing small fishing villages, salt marshes and beaches. Along the PR 475 section, the Irving Eco-Centre features a boardwalk and interpretive sites of the coastal dune environment.

From Cocagne, PR 134 crosses a bridge over the Cocagne River to PR 535, which offers coastal vistas as it makes its way up the coast to Bouctouche, a town with Victorian elegance and gorgeous views of the bay. PR 475 continues a coastline trek into the bayside town of St. Edward before turning inland on a tree-lined drive to Sainte-Anne-de-Kent.
