Overview
Visit the main highlights of the eternal city with our friendly small group tour! This tour will be divided into two parts giving you some free time for lunch break in between. Your morning tour will be focused on the Ancient Rome and on Gladiators stories, you'll visit the Colosseum with an exclusive access from the Gladiator's Entrance, then walk to the Palatine Hill to see the ruins of the Palace of the Emperor Domitian and step into the Roman Forum once the center of the political and economical ancient Rome. Your afternoon tour will be focused on the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. You will jump back to the 1500s and learn about Michelangelo and Raphael. You will visit with your guide the highlights of the Vatican Galleries, see the Laocoon marble group and the Apollo, walk through the Gallery of Maps and reach the Sistine Chapel to enjoy Michelangelo's frescoes of the Last Judgement and Creation of Adam. These is a special access to the Arena Floor.

- The tour consists of 2 different tours: a Colosseum / Ancient Rome tour in the morning and a Vatican tour in the afternoon
- If you arrive late you might lose the entrance at the Vatican or Colosseum
- This tour is not wheelchair accessible but may be adapted to an accessible itinerary if you contact us. Please note that, for disabled visitors with certified invalidity of more than 74%, the Vatican Museums offers free entry that is extended to a companion for visitors who are not self-sufficient. To benefit from this, make sure you mention it at the time of booking so that our staff may handle your request.
