Lethbridge
Numerous parks and green spaces complement the city's commercial enterprises. Two popular areas are Lethbridge Nature Preserve in Indian Battle Park at 3rd Avenue S. and Scenic Drive, and Henderson Lake Park at Parkside Drive S. and Mayor Magrath Drive S. The park has a golf course, a 24-hectare (60-acre) lake with tennis courts, a picnic area, playgrounds and a campground. Rose and Japanese gardens, a stadium and an ice-skating center are included. Lethbridge holds Whoop-Up Days in August.
