Shipyards Landing Park offers boat ramps and scenic vistas. The Bridgewater Woodland Gardens contain winding trails punctuated by azaleas and rhododendrons. The gardens also contain a large pond and picnic tables. The town's 8-kilometre (4.8 mi.) Centennial Trail is a hiking and bicycling path that meanders through woods and along the LaHave River.
