Autumn provides an opportunity to witness the yearly arrival of thousands of sandhill cranes as they complete a migratory journey south from Alaska along the Pacific Flyway. The birds spend the winter months at the Isenberg Sandhill Crane Reserve; they can be observed from lookout points along Woodbridge Road, which runs through the reserve's south site.
