The Duncan Miller Glass Museum, 525 Jefferson Ave., exhibits fine pressed and hand-blown glass made 1893-1955. It is open for guided tours Thurs.-Sun. 11-4 (except holidays), early Apr.-Dec. 31 and by appointment year-round. Phone (724) 225-9950. There is also an annual glass show and sale held at the nearby Washington County Fairgrounds in late July.
Self-guiding Tours
Washington County is home to 23 of the state's nearly 200 covered bridges. A brochure highlighting their history is available at various information stands in the area, including Courthouse Square.
