About NorwalkDuring the Western Reserve era, settlers came to the Norwalk area from parts of New England ravaged by British raids. Because the land was deeded as compensation for Revolutionary War fire destruction, it was called the “Firelands.” The West Main Historic District showcases some of the Classic Revival houses built by the original settlers.
Summit Motorsports Park on SR 18 hosts more than 60 drag racing events April through October. Phone (419) 668-5555 for event and ticket information.
