Prices
Ghent is known as one of the most expensive places to stay in Europe. The guide prices in this book refer to a double room
for one night, including breakfast, during the holiday season.
Reservations Expansion of hotel accommodation in Ghent has not kept pace with the increase in visitor numbers. There is regularly a great shortage of beds in Ghent, especially before the Ghent Festival at the end of July when you should book well in advance. The hundreds of participating artists alone are looking for accommodation for the ten days. Children and Pets Most hotels provide a babysitting service and welcome pets. Wheelchair users will rarely find specially adapted toilets, not even if the hotel is advertised as being wheelchair friendly. |
