NATIONAL TRANSPORTATION

TRAIN (train)
The national rail company is Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois (CFL). Most services run through the city of Luxembourg. Combined train and bus one-day network cards (the “Oeko-Pass”) are good value and valid until 8 a.m. the following day. “Short distance” train and bus tickets are available and are valid for 1 hour or 6 miles. BUS (bus)
Long-distance, CFL-operated buses complement the rail network (Phone:49 90-49 90). The Eurolines international bus network serves Brussels; from there you must catch a train to Luxembourg.

river boat (bateau-mouche)
There are many excursions (mostly Easter to October) exploring Luxembourg's magnificent Moselle river, which stretches the entire eastern length of the country.
