Musée National Message Biblique Marc Chagall
The Marc Chagall Bibilical Message Museum is a dramatic modern gallery, designed by A. Harmant, that houses Chagall's own
donations to the city and is the world's most important single collection of his work. The 17 canvasses that make up the Biblical
Message were painted between 1954 and 1967 and depict the artist's own interpretation of the Bible's story. Other rooms display
the 39 gouaches, 105 etchings and copper plates, and 200 sketches that Chagall used to help create the finished pieces.
