John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum

397 Main St., Hyannis, MA, 02601

John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum is in the old Town Hall Building at 397 Main St. A statue of President Kennedy walking on the beach greets visitors to the museum. Featured are exhibits, photographs and oral histories dedicated to the times that Kennedy spent in the area with his family and friends. An 8-minute orientation video narrated by Walter Cronkite reflects on the “summer White House” and place of refuge for the 35th president. Displays also highlight other members of the Kennedy clan, including Sen. Edward M. Kennedy and JFK's eldest son, John F. Kennedy Jr.
