New Hampshire's Scenic Route 4

15.8 miles: 0 hours, 22 minutes

Enjoy the slow pace as you drive down US 4 and take in the quiet New Hampshire countryside. You will travel through wooded areas dotted with Cape Cod-style homes and country farmhouses, particularly in Andover and Salisbury.

On a clear day on US 4, you can see the mountains that make up Rollins and Winslow state parks to the south as you pass through Andover. Mount Kearsarge, at 2,397 feet, is the most well-known and oldest among them. The lazy road also offers the sight of the occasional well-loved house, old barn and small town as you pass through wooded areas.
